Our Profession Is Changing. Here's How to Change With It (and Build Something Lasting).

Let's be honest with each other for a minute. If you work in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax, you've felt it: the ground is shifting. AI is showing up in the tools we use, the questions clients ask, and the way work gets done. For some, that's unsettling. For others, it's the biggest opportunity our profession has seen in a generation.

We believe it's the second one. And we want to help you see it that way too.

This isn't the first time our work has evolved

Think about it. We moved from paper ledgers to spreadsheets. From spreadsheets to cloud software. From shoeboxes of receipts to bank feeds and apps. Every one of those shifts felt big at the time, and every one of them made the professionals who embraced it more valuable, not less.

AI is the next step in that same story. It's not here to replace the judgment, the relationships, and the trust that make you good at what you do. It's here to take the repetitive weight off your plate so you can do more of the work that actually matters.

What adapting actually looks like

Adapting doesn't mean becoming a technologist overnight. It means learning enough to put a few tools to work, and letting them compound. In practice, that looks like:

Using AI to handle the repetitive middle of your workflow, so you reclaim hours every week. Turning those reclaimed hours into more clients, or into higher-value advisory work you never had time for. Offering clients clearer, faster insight, which deepens trust and keeps them longer. Each of these is a step, and each one adds to your revenue.

You don't have to do all of it at once. You just have to start.

And then there's a door most people haven't noticed yet

Here's the part that excites us most. Once you understand how to use AI in your own practice, you're holding a skill that thousands of other business owners desperately want and don't have.

That means a whole new revenue source: becoming the person who helps others adopt AI. An advisor. A consultant. A guide. You already understand the numbers and the business, so adding AI fluency makes you exactly the kind of trusted expert people will pay for. We've watched professionals turn this into a genuine new income stream, and it's still early.

That's a big reason we do what we do. We teach AI, and we build ready-made bundles and tools, so you don't have to figure it all out alone. Some of you will use them to grow your own practice. Some of you will use them to grow your revenue. And some of you will use them to build something entirely new.

This is how you build a legacy

A legacy isn't built by standing still. It's built by the people who see where things are going, adapt early, and bring others along with them. That's the opportunity in front of every one of us right now: to learn, to grow, and to lead in a profession that's being reshaped in real time.

We'd rather you be one of the people leading it than one watching it happen.

Start this Friday

If any of this resonates, come see it for yourself. This Friday, July 10 at 3:00 PM CST, we're hosting a free live AI workshop with AI guru Steve Cunningham. He'll show you, live, exactly what AI can do for your work and your revenue, and Yvonne Razo, with 35+ years in accounting, will be there for anyone ready to implement it in their accounting, bookkeeping, or tax work.

It's free. Register and you'll also get the replay if you can't make it live.
